  • UPDATED - Notice of Public Sale

    The City of Pelican is accepting sealed bids for the sale of the “RESPONDER” boat with trailer.

    The boat is parked next to the community center building and is open for inspection prior to bidding.

    The starting bid is $7,500. SEALED bids will be accepted through Tuesday, September 12th, 10:00 AM at City Hall located at 106 Pelican Way. Bids will be time stamped as they arrive.

    Unsealed bids will automatically be rejected. Late bids will not be accepted.

    All bids will be opened by the Clerk and Mayor on September 12th, 2024, 10:15 am at City Hall. The public is welcome to attend the opening of the bids.

    Once the highest bidder has been selected, they will have 10 business days to pay for the boat or forfeit their right to purchase.

    The city reserves the right to refuse bids if less than the minimum starting bid.

  • Request for Proposal for Professional Services

    Notice is hereby given that the City of Pelican is seeking proposals for professional services to prepare Exhibit F and Exhibit G documents for the City’s ongoing Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) relicensing effort for the Pelican Hydro Project P-10198AK.

    The proposal should be marked “Professional Services for FERC Re-License Application.”

    The City of Pelican requests the following services:

    Service provider will assist the City of Pelican and their consultants to prepare engineer related drawings and FERC boundary maps that meet FERC standards and regulatory requirements to be submitted with the City of Pelican’s FERC relicensing application that is due September 16, 2024. Service provider will be a qualified engineer and surveyor that can prepare and supply documents on a schedule to ensure that documents, maps and drawings are prepared in sufficient time to meet the City of Pelican’s FERC filing deadline.

    Please provide a fee proposal (email submission acceptable) by 4:00 p.m., August 20, 2024 to:
