Pelican Health Clinic; Dental Services:

Dr. Nolan will be in Pelican the week of May 4th for dental appointments at Pelican Health Clinic.

Fuel Cost Update:

As a result of the rising fuel costs across the region, adjustments to the city service rates will be necessary to offset these changes. We appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain reliable services.

Water Rate Adjustment

As a part of the 5-year utility rate plan, water rates will increase in 2026. This reflects Year 3 of the phased adjustment to help ensure our water system remains financially sustainable.

Help Keep Pelican Safe

Please drive cautiously and be mindful of pedestrians and other vehicles - especially near the harbor. We kindly ask that vehicle use in the harbor area be avoided, and to limit vehicle traffic on garbage days so our crew can work safely and efficiently. Thank you for helping keep Pelican safe and accessible.

New Parking Lot

The city has worked diligently to construct a parking lot near the USPS. Please make use of this designated parking area to ensure that access to the ice machines and their heavy equipment remains unobstructed. Additionally, keeping this area clear allows our flight carrier to deliver to the USPS without impediment.

Community Hall Reminder:

Please do not open windows at the Community Hall. Some windows do not fully latch, and when the wind catches them, it can cause damage to the building. Keeping them closed helps maintain proper heating and protects the building. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in protecting this shared space!

We’re Hiring!

If you or someone you know may be interested in being a part-time solid waste operator, or a part-time fuel dock attendant, please visit the city website at www.cityofpelican.com/jobs for the full job descriptions and application details.
