• Regular City Council Meeting: The regular city council meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 12th at 6pm.

• Primary Elections: Primary elections will be held Tuesday, August 18th.

• Water & Sewer Awareness: Small actions make a big difference! Please help us care for our community’s water and sewer systems by conserving water when possible, fixing leaks, and keeping trash, wipes, grease, and other items out of drains and toilets.

  If you notice a problem or have concerns, please reach out to City staff so we can help address issues before they become bigger repairs. Thank you for helping keep our community’s systems working for everyone!

• Customer Appreciation Program: As a thank you to our residentail customers who keep their accounts current, customers who pay their monthly utility bills on time will be entered into a monthly raffle for a chance to win $100 toward city utilities or Pelican Fuels. Thank you for helping support our community and for doing your part to keep our services reliable for everyone!

• Property Tax Reminder: Property tax statements have been issued. Property taxes are due October 15th, 2026. A 5% discount will be applied to payments received before the due date, so residents are encouraged to pay early and take advantage of the discount.
