How do I….Pay My Bill?

In Person:

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm. A drop box is available outside the front door of City Hall at 106 Salmon Way for customer convenience and dropping off payments after hours.

By Mail:

Make checks / money orders payable to:

City of Pelican, PO Box 737, Pelican, Alaska 99382.

Over the Phone:

Payments can be made over the phone during regular office hours by calling 907-735-2202.

Autopay

Tired of writing checks every month? Please consider signing up for our autopay system. The City of Pelican runs auto pays on the 15th of every month, or the following business day.

Delinquent Accounts

-If you owe delinquent (past due) money to the City of Pelican or one of its agencies, the City Treasurer is available to help you resolve your obligation as quickly and painlessly as possible.

City Treasurer

The treasurer is the custodian of all city funds. He or she shall keep an itemized account of money received and disbursed.

The treasurer shall:

  • Be responsible for all matters pertaining to the maintenance of all accounts of the city;

  • Compile the annual budget of the city based upon detailed department estimates and work programs and control it under direction of the mayor;

  • Prepare and submit to the mayor such financial reports and other data as may be required;

  • Prescribe and control such procedures as are necessary to protect city funds and property;

  • Perform such other duties as the mayor or council may require.
