FAQs

1) De-register your EPIRB at the website www.beaconregistration.noaa.gov or by calling 1-800-212-7283
2) Make sure EPIRB is turned off or disabled at switch.
3) If fitted with external antennae, unscrew or break off.
4) Disassemble unit to remove battery
5) EPIRB may now be discarded - as a hazardous material.

Glass, aluminum, metal cans, compact fluorescent bulbs, computers, and electronics.
